I think all of us have experienced something like a rebellious teenager inside us from time to time. Especially around food. There are those times when, no matter how committed we are to eating healthy, we hear in our heads something of a defiant teenager wanting one of our old comfort foods.
Usually we haven’t forgotten there’s another voice, a wise voice, that clearly knows what’s really beneficial, but that teenager seems to drown it out. Join us as we explore how the rebellious teenager can also serve us in a step to creating a healthy relationship with food.
So the next time you want to reach, and you know it isn’t hunger prompting you, stop, slow down and check in with your wise voice. See what nudge you’re given around what you think you wish to eat.
Our coaching work is all about supporting people to have a healthy relationship with food. When we do, we lose weight naturally. And when we understand how the mind works, everything in our lives can improve.
