Try it for yourself. Cut your free oils back to 1 teaspoon rather than 1 or 2 tablespoons when you make your next pot of lentils and beans, or rice/veggie stir fry, or any main meal dish. It can support your health and natural weight loss immensely.

Today’s recipe is Hummus made either with or without Tahini. Without Tahini it is “free oil” free. You simply add unhulled sesame seeds to give it that Tahini taste by using whole sesame seeds. Tahini is simply made by pressing sesame seeds the same way almond butter is made by pressing almonds. The Hummus is delicious.

Hummus

Hummus With Carrot Sticks

1-28 ounce (or 2 – 15 oz.) cans of cooked garbanzo beans, drain off half the liquid
2 cloves garlic, peeled
2 tablespoons tahini or 1/2 cup unhulled sesame seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons umeboshi paste or 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup vegetable stock or purified water

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend thoroughly until a smooth paste is achieved.
Add additional vegetable stock or purified water if the mixture is too thick and chunky.
