The recipe is an Oil Free Ranch Dressing. Made with cashews and sunflower seeds, it offers a delicious taste and no oil. Enjoy.
Ranch Oil Free Dressing
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
3 garlic cloves
3 tablespoon nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon tamari
1/4 inch slice of red onion, peeled
1 tablespoon dried dill or 3 tablespoons fresh dill
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Ground black pepper to taste
1 lemon, juiced
1 1/2 to 2 cups purified water
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (set aside to add just before serving)
2 tablespoons chives (set aside to add just before serving)
Place all ingredients in blender except parsley and chives. Blend until smooth.
Add parsley and chives and pulse several times to mix into the dressing.
Store in a jar in the refrigerator. Good for 4 days.
