These breakfast squares are incredibly delicious (and decadent) for breakfast. Almost too good to be true... but they are truly nutritious! Filled with WFPB high nutrient dense ingredients they are way ahead of any commercial breakfast options available today.
They're also great as a snack, an after meal dessert topped with fresh fruit, and the dough makes a delicious cookie too.

Chocolate Cookie Breakfast Squares (Serves 2 -4)
- ½ cup almonds
- ¾ cup pitted dates
- 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ripe banana
- 1 medium apple, diced
- ¼ cup filtered water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add almonds and dates to a food processor and process to a fine chunk.
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Press into an 8” x 8” pan and bake for 30 minutes.
