This is great as a dressing on pasta, potatoes, salads, steamed greens and veggies. Quick and easy to make.
Pimento Cheese Sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup raw cashews
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup filtered water
- 6-ounce jar roasted red peppers, rinsed
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable broth (optional or use filtered water)
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- Pinch cayenne pepper of ½ teaspoon of Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Transfer to jar and refrigerate. Will last 5 to 7 days refrigerated.
